ONE PLUS

School of Discipleship

One of the most important aspects of discipleship is making disciples of others.

Thus, ONE PLUS School of Discipleship encompasses a thread of discipleship features to constantly show the believer that discipleship goes beyond our personal spiritual growth and maturity but includes spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. ONE PLUS utilizes progressive Christian education pedagogy and methodologies to address multi-generational learning goals.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 “Go therefore and make disciples…” The Greek word for disciple is “mathetes,” which means a pupil or learner. Discipleship describes the process by which the believer becomes more like Christ and, as a result, a follower of Christ.

(1) Relationship – becoming like Christ

(2) Servanthood – serving others as an expression of your love for Christ, so that God gets the glory and so that the Kingdom of God is manifested and expanded in the earth

(3) Evangelism – fulfilling the Great Commission, the continual spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that believers are in the continuous and aggressive pursuit of making disciples.

ONE PLUS is the central discipleship training program at ONE Church. The design of ONE PLUS focuses on equipping the believer with tools for discipleship. Through ONE PLUS, believers experience an atmosphere conducive for continued spiritual maturity and provides the believer with tools for disciple-making, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:18.

Note: Registration is free for all ONE PLUS courses. Some classes may require a textbook, available for purchase through the church.

EQUIP

Ministry Lab

focuses on three training areas:

EQUIP- Ministry Lab is designed to prepare the ministry staff of ONE Church for ministry service. EQUIP features a comprehensive training approach including understanding and following the vision of the pastor, understanding your spiritual gifts, having the right attitude, developing a serving spirit, becoming a service-oriented ministry worker, and much more.
